Every Child is Unique
All activities and experiences offered to the children are planned using the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework. Your child’s key person will carefully plan your child’s next steps based on their current interests and stage of development. This makes your child’s learning a very individual process and as everything is play based often the children are learning without even realising it!
The children are assessed and observed regularly enabling us to complete a comprehensive online Learning Diary for each child-this tracks their progress within the EYFS. To do this we use a secure system called Tapestry, you are able to log in and look at your child’s diary whenever you wish and it enables you to add observations from home too. Twice yearly parents evenings allow you to share your child’s progress with their key person.
Children achieve their full potential when parents and professionals work together closely; therefore parents and carers are actively encouraged to regularly contribute to the planning and assessing process for their child.
